Placements24 is seeking an analytical E-commerce Product Data Analyst in Polokwane. You will gather and interpret data on product performance, customer behavior, and market trends to influence product strategy and listings.

In this hybrid role, you will build dashboards, collaborate with product, marketing and sales teams, and stay updated on analytics tools to drive growth and improve the customer shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role in ecommerce.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python or R, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze product data from sales, reviews, and website analytics.
• Identify trends and insights on product performance and customer preferences.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize key product metrics.
• Analyze product listings (descriptions, imagery, pricing) and propose optimizations.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
