Placements24 is partnering with a leading online retail business in Benoni, Gauteng, to hire an E-commerce Data Analyst. This hybrid role focuses on turning large datasets into actionable insights that improve customer experience, optimize revenue, and guide strategy.

You'll collect, clean, and analyze data from website analytics, sales platforms, and marketing tools; develop dashboards; and collaborate with marketing, product, and operations to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in e-commerce or online retail.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data extraction and modeling.
• Experience with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent understanding of e-commerce metrics, KPIs, and business processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule in Benoni, Gauteng.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across analyses and reports.
• Stay up-to-date with data analysis techniques and e-commerce trends.
