Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a data‑driven Data Analyst for a hybrid role in Upington, Northern Cape. You will collect, clean, and analyze large data sets from website analytics, sales, and feedback to drive business decisions and optimize online performance.

You will build and maintain dashboards using Tableau and Power BI, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in e‑commerce or retail.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large data volumes from website analytics, sales data, and customer feedback.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in customer behavior and marketing.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Interpret data and provide actionable insights to improve strategies, products, and operations.
• Conduct A/B tests and analyze results to optimize website design and user experience.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to understand data needs and provide analytics support.
• Stay up-to-date with data analysis techniques and technologies.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reports and analyses.
• Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
