Placements24 is seeking an analytical E-commerce Data Analyst to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive growth and decision-making. You will track and report on key e-commerce metrics, customer behavior, and market trends.

This on-site role in Kimberley requires collaboration with marketing, sales, and product teams to optimize campaigns, website performance, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong focus on e-commerce or digital marketing analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and A/B testing methodologies.
• Excellent data visualization and reporting skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including website analytics, sales data, marketing campaigns, and customer feedback.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs related to website traffic, conversion rates, sales, CAC, and CLV.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, and translate findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for the marketing, sales, and product teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and cross-functional teams, ensuring data-driven insights are understood and acted upon.
