Job summary

Placements24 client in Upington, Northern Cape seeks an energetic Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee the dining operations, ensure exceptional service, manage staff and maintain high quality. You will lead daily service, train teams, handle guest feedback, and ensure HACCP compliance while coordinating with kitchen and bar to deliver memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage inventory and control costs.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Based in Upington or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily F&B service operations, ensuring efficiency and standards.
• Train and manage waitstaff, bartenders, and kitchen assistants.
• Ensure accurate order taking and delivery of food and beverages.
• Maintain high cleanliness and hygiene in all F&B outlets.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste.
• Assist in developing menus and daily specials with the kitchen.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction, implementing improvements.
• Contribute to overall success by delivering outstanding F&B experiences.
