Job summary

Placements24 in Upington, Northern Cape is seeking a dynamic Food and Beverage Operations Supervisor to support the F&B Manager in daily oversight of all outlets, including restaurants, bars, and banquets.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years in supervising F&B, strong leadership, excellent guest service, and a solid grasp of cost control, inventory, and staff coaching. This role offers growth within a respected hotel group and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in F&B, preferably in a hotel.
• Strong leadership and team motivation abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of cost control, inventory, and budgeting.
• Proficiency with F&B management systems and POS systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the F&B Manager in daily ops of all F&B outlets.
• Supervise F&B staff and ensure service standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and quality.
• Monitor inventory and control wastage.
• Participate in menu development and maintain quality.
• Train new staff and provide ongoing coaching.
• Oversee cleanliness and health and safety compliance.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve F&B issues.
• Support planning and execution of banqueting and events.
• Contribute to achieving F&B revenue and profitability targets.
