Placements24 on behalf of a prominent Durban-based logistics company is seeking a diligent Helpdesk Technician to join our IT team on-site. You will be the first point of contact for staff, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network issues to keep operations running smoothly.

With 1–2 years of experience, you will handle tickets, assist in asset management, and contribute to knowledge bases. A CompTIA A+ is advantageous; strong customer service is essential in this busy Durban

Formación

• 1–2 years of IT support or helpdesk experience.
• Proficient in Windows OS and MS Office Suite.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with ticketing systems is essential.
• CompTIA A+ certification is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and printers.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Respond to tickets promptly, following ITIL practices.
• Assist in IT asset management and documentation.
