The ideal candidate has proven insurance experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and is familiar with CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Insurance Broker or similar client-facing role in the insurance industry.
• Sound knowledge of different insurance products (life, health, property, commercial).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation and sales abilities.
• Familiarity with insurance brokerage software and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to identify their insurance requirements across lines of business.
• Provide expert advice on appropriate insurance products and coverage options.
• Source, compare, and present quotes from multiple providers to clients.
• Negotiate terms and premiums with insurers on behalf of clients.
• Manage the policy lifecycle from application to renewal, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of clients.
• Cross-sell and up-sell relevant insurance products as opportunities arise.
• Stay updated on industry trends, products and regulatory changes impacting KwaZulu-Natal.
• Handle client inquiries, concerns, and claims support efficiently and professionally.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
