Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Insurance Broker or similar client-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of life, health, property and commercial insurance products.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation and sales abilities with an ability to build trust with clients.
• Familiarity with insurance brokerage software and CRM systems.
• FAIS accreditation or equivalent industry certification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to identify unique insurance requirements across lines of business.
• Provide expert advice on appropriate insurance products and coverage options.
• Source, compare and present quotes from multiple providers to clients.
• Negotiate terms and premiums with insurers on behalf of clients.
• Manage policy lifecycle from application to renewal and ensure client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships and portfolios.
• Cross-sell and upsell relevant insurance products where appropriate.
• Stay updated on industry trends, products and regulatory changes in KwaZulu-Natal.
• Handle client inquiries, concerns and claims support professionally.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
