Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd seeks a dedicated delivery driver to manage allocated loads and vehicles on assigned routes, ensuring on-time delivery with minimal damage. You will prepare vehicles, complete required paperwork, and follow SOPs and safety procedures to keep operations smooth.

Responsibilities include handling documentation, reporting emergencies, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and adhering to AARTO rules.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• A minimum of 24 months driving experience.
• 3-5 years in a similar role.
• Must have valid Code 10 driver’s license and PrDP.

• Prepare vehicle for trip and operate heavy-duty vehicle.
• Handle required documentation and perform ancillary duties.
• Follow all other reasonable instructions from the Manager.
• Adhere to all applicable SOPs and safety procedures.
• Follow the reporting procedure of emergencies and defects/ breakdowns.
• Housekeeping of vehicle.
• Always adhere to AARTO rules.

Job Purpose

Manage allocated load and/ or vehicle on assigned route to ensure products are delivered without incurring any damages.
