Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd in South Africa seeks a delivery driver to manage allocated load and vehicle on assigned routes, ensuring products are delivered undamaged. Role requires adhering to SOPs, safety procedures and traffic regulations.

Responsibilities include completing route documentation, vehicle prep, and reporting emergencies or defects. Minimum 24 months driving experience and a valid Code 14 with PrDP are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months driving experience.
• 3-5 years in a similar role.
• Minimum Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid Code 14 driver’s license with PrDP.

• Prepare vehicle for trip and operate heavy-duty vehicle.
• Handle required documentation and perform ancillary duties.
• Follow all other reasonable instructions from the Manager.
• Adhere to all applicable SOPs and safety procedures.
• Follow the reporting procedure for emergencies and defects/breakdowns.
• Housekeeping of vehicle.
• Always adhere to AARTO rules.

Job Purpose

Manage allocated load and/ or vehicle on assigned route to ensure products are delivered without incurring any damages.

Experience and Qualifications
