Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd in Butterworth, Eastern Cape, is seeking a Delivery Driver to support daily deliveries and cash/tray collection where applicable. The role requires checking loading sheets, adhering to departure times, and ensuring vehicle safety and hygiene.

Applicants should have 1-2 years FMCG experience and a valid Code 10/CI Driver's Licence with PDP, and Matric/Grade 12. The position is 6 days a week, may include night shifts, with weekend and public holiday work as rostered.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years FMCG experience and a valid Code 10/CI driver's license with PDP.
• Matric/Grade 12 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Check loading sheets and sign off on delivered products.
• Adhere to standard departure times.
• Ensure vehicle safety and hygiene.
• Collect cash from customers and cash in daily where applicable.
• Assist with offloading at customer sites.
• Report accidents immediately to transport department.

Job Purpose

Assist the Salesman driver in daily delivery of Premier products and where applicable assist the Salesman driver in cash and tray collection.

Key Responsibilities

• Check company products as per loading sheet and sign
• Adhering to standard departure times
• Take responsibility for vehicle safety and hygiene
• Collect cash from the customers and cash in daily (where applicable)
• Offloading of product at customers
• Report all accidents immediately to the transport department and Service Manager

Experience and Qualifications

• 1-2 experience at FMCG & a valid Driver’s License code10/CI With PDP
• Matric / Grade 12

Working Conditions
