Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd in Krugersdorp is seeking a diligent Dispatch & Inventory Supervisor to ensure efficient operations within the dispatch, receiving and inventory department. You will drive KPI performance daily, coordinate loading plans, and maintain accurate stock control with a strong emphasis on FIFO and safe, compliant processes.

The role requires up to 5 years in distribution/dispatch, 2 years in a team-leader role, MS Office proficiency, and a forklift license as an advantage.

Competenze

• NQF Level 5 or equivalent is essential.
• Up to 5 years Distribution and dispatch experience.
• Up to 2 years team leader experience with people management skills; forklift license is advantageous.
• Sound MS Office packages essential.
• Syspro knowledge would be an added advantage.
• Able to work shifts.
• Having own transportation would be an added advantage.

• Execute daily SCT requirements from plants and replenish free stock.
• Ensure time slots are created for loading and off-loading and communicated to the team, with feedback on OTIF.
• Dispatch correct items with correct codes, batches, and quantities to clients.
• Coordinate loading plans with transporters and ensure timely SCT submissions and TPOs.
• Liaise with Supply Chain Manager on damages from picking and isolate stock to damage location.
• Ensure export permits and border crossing compliance; verify batches align with submissions.
• Enforce FIFO across the team and monitor compliance.
• Reconcile stock loaded/off-loaded with security and invoicing documents.
• Ensure all invoices, SCTs and scanning meet company requirements.
• Daily inspection and maintenance of forklifts and equipment; arrange repairs as needed.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring that the dispatch, receiving, and inventory department is running efficiently and that KPI’s for the facility is being achieved and exceeded daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily SCT requirements from plants and replenish free stock
• Ensure that time slots are created for loading and off-loading, and schedules communicated to team and department and ensure feedback is given by load on OTIF.
• Ensure that correct, item code, batch, lot as well as quantities are dispatched to the correct client.
• Co-ordinate loading plan with transporters when required and ensure TPO’s are created and submitted on time before loading.
• Liaison with Supply Chain Manager daily on all damages from picking, isolate stock to damage location and ensure this is discarded weekly as per company regulations.
• Ensure that Export permit copies are made and checked. Ensure that vehicle crosses stipulated border. Ensure that batches do not vary to what has been submitted
• Ensure that FIFO principle is followed exactly and that all staff conforms.
• Reconcile stock loaded/off-loaded on the truck with the security and to the invoice/SCT to ensure the correct number and type of product is loaded/off-loaded
• Ensure that all Invoices, SCT’s as well as scanning conforms to company requirements.
• Maintaining of Forklift and other equipment. Ensure daily inspections are carried out and all problems reported immediately, and repairs arranged.
• Execute daily SCT requirements from plants and replenish free stock.
• Perform Ad-Hoc duties when required

Experience and Qualifications

• NQF Level 5 or equivalent is essential (Higher Certificates and Advanced National Certificate)
• Up to 5 years Distribution and dispatch experience
• Up to 2 years team leader experience with people management skills is essential. Forklift license would be an added advantage.
• Sound MS Office packages is essential.
• Syspro knowledge would be an added advantage.
• Able to work shifts.
• Having own transportation would be an added advantage.
