Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd is seeking an on-site distribution/operations role to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries and effective coordination of site functions. The incumbent will supervise staff, liaise with clients, and drive sales growth within formal and informal markets while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications include Matric, with a Diploma in Warehousing Logistics advantageous and a Sales qualification beneficial. Willingness to work a 6-day week is expected.

• Oversee on-site operations and ensure delivery of Premier products on time and in full.

• Plan and manage stock, crates, and depot assets.
• Ensure adherence to safety, housekeeping, and process standards.

Job Purpose:

To ensure the delivery of Premier products is made on time and in full every day. Incumbent will also be responsible for overseeing the co-ordination of all the functions on site including staff management and client liaison.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales growth in Formal and Informal market.
• Customer Retention and improved service.
• Identify CSI plans to Earn the right to operate in our community
• New customers in Geographical location – WTS Projects
• Execution of Promotion plan and Marketing Executions
• Call cycle adherence.
• Increase volume sales YOY.
• Manage reconciliation and loss of Trays and Dollies at Depot
• Create and maintain brand awareness into minds and hearts (Visibility).
• To become a reliable distributor
• Asset management and Housekeeping:
• Efficient crate control
• Vehicle abuse
• Maintain truck image
• Develop the supply chain:
• Deliver at the right cost
• Plan execution of orders
• Customer Relationship Management
• Maximize customer service levels
• Get the right products to customers on time, in full every day

Experience and qualification

• 3 – 5 years FMCG environment
• Matric
• Diploma in Warehousing Logistics (advantageous)
• Sales qualification (advantageous)
