Job summary

Voltex (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Despatch Clerk for the Port Elizabeth branch. The role reports to the Branch Manager and focuses on ensuring adherence to receiving processes and resolving discrepancies promptly.

Responsibilities include unloading stock, inspecting for damage, and matching stock to purchase orders. The role requires a Matric certificate and warehouse experience is advantageous. K8 system and MS Office knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate is required.
• 2+ years in stores/warehouse is advantageous.
• Knowledge of MS Office and K8 system is advantageous.
• Good product knowledge and understanding of warehouse processes are preferred.
• Familiarity with safety standards and protective clothing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Unload and unpack stock.
• Inspect stock for damage and verify quantities.
• Report damages or shortages to the Branch Manager.
• Match stock to purchase orders and enter receiving data.
• Prepare stock for inventory and organize received items.
• Return damaged products to customers.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock integrity.
