Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a senior Data & Analytics sales leader to drive regional growth in MEA from South Africa. You will build a robust pipeline, position advanced analytics solutions, and engage C-level stakeholders.

Collaborate with architects, delivery teams, and hyperscalers to craft compelling proposals and close deals. The role requires 15+ years in data/analytics sales, strong relationships, and deep knowledge of data platforms and AI offerings.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of sales experience, with at least 10 years focused on Data & Analytics technology solutions (MDM, Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Engineering and Data Cloud platforms).
• Proven track record of achieving/exceeding Data & Analytics quotas within MEA, ideally within a GSI, consulting, or technology services environment.
• Strong network of client and partner relationships in-country.
• Solid understanding of data platforms, analytics tools, and AI/ML solution offerings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a robust pipeline of Data & Analytics opportunities across target accounts within MEA, aligned to company growth targets.
• Develop deep relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders (CDOs, CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Analytics) to understand business challenges and position relevant solutions.
• Collaborate with practice SMEs, solution architects, and delivery teams to shape compelling proposals, RFP responses, and commercial constructs.
• Drive the end-to-end Data & Analytics sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solutioning, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Partner with hyperscaler and technology alliances (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks) to develop joint strategic sales motion within targeted accounts.
• Maintain TCV forecasting, pipeline reporting and ACV estimating.
• Represent the company at local industry events, forums, and client engagements to build brand visibility and thought leadership.
• Stay current on local market trends, regulatory considerations, and competitive landscape affecting Data & Analytics buying decisions.
