Job summary

NTT DATA in Johannesburg seeks a seasoned Data & Analytics sales leader to build and close high-value opportunities across MEA. You will develop executive-level relationships with CDOs, CIOs and heads of analytics to understand challenges and position data-driven solutions.

You will partner with practice SMEs, craft compelling proposals, drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, and coordinate with cloud alliances to create joint go-to-market motions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of achieving/exceeding Data & Analytics quotas in MEA.
• Strong network of client and partner relationships in-country.
• Experience selling managed services or outcome-based engagements.
• Existing certifications or partner relationships with major data platform vendors (Snowflake and Databricks).
• Cross Technology Sales Specialist with quota-bearing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a robust pipeline of Data & Analytics opportunities across target accounts within MEA, aligned to growth targets.
• Develop executive relationships to understand business challenges and position solutions.
• Collaborate with SMEs, solution architects, and delivery teams to shape proposals and RFP responses.
• Drive end-to-end Data & Analytics sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solutioning, negotiation, closure.
• Partner with hyperscalers and technology alliances (AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks) for joint sales motions.
• Maintain TCV forecasting, pipeline reporting and ACV estimating; represent the company at industry events.
