Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Johannesburg is seeking a senior Data & Analytics sales specialist to lead end-to-end sales cycles across MEA.

You will develop deep relationships with C-level stakeholders, shape proposals with architects and delivery teams, and partner with hyperscalers to drive joint sales motions. Required are 15+ years in sales with Data & Analytics expertise, a strong network, and excellent negotiation and executive presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of sales experience, with at least 10 years focused on Data & Analytics technology solutions (MDM, Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Engineering and Data Cloud platforms).
• Proven track record meeting/exceeding Data & Analytics quotas in MEA, ideally in a GSI, consulting, or technology services environment.
• Strong network of client and partner relationships in-country.
• Solid understanding of data platforms, analytics tools, and AI/ML solution offerings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a robust pipeline of Data & Analytics opportunities across MEA.
• Develop relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders (CDOs, CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Analytics).
• Collaborate with practice SMEs, solution architects, and delivery teams to shape compelling proposals, RFP responses, and commercial constructs.
• Drive the end-to-end Data & Analytics sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solutioning, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Partner with hyperscaler and technology alliances (AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks) to develop joint strategic sales motion within targeted accounts.
• Maintain TCV forecasting, pipeline reporting and ACV estimating
• Represent the company at local industry events, forums, and client engagements to build brand visibility and thought leadership.
• Stay current on local market trends, regulatory considerations, and competitive landscape affecting Data & Analytics buying decisions.
