Our client is looking for a Customer & Member Services Officer to join their dynamic team in Umhlanga. This role is perfect for an organised, customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. You'll play a key role in supporting customers, processing orders, maintaining stock accuracy, and assisting with warehouse operations and company events.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Deliver professional customer support via telephone, email, WhatsApp, and face-to-face interactions.
- Assist customers with product enquiries, pricing, promotions, and general information.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the company operating system.
- Generate invoices, delivery documentation, and ensure orders are dispatched on time.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for courier collection.
- Receive incoming stock and verify deliveries against supplier documentation.
- Assist with stock control, stock counts, monthly and annual stocktakes, and inventory accuracy.
- Maintain customer records and complete general office administration.
- Promote products and support retail sales within company guidelines.
- Assist with warehouse organisation, stock rotation (FIFO), and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Support company events, exhibitions, wellness days, and promotional activities.
- Prepare presentation materials and equipment for training sessions and company events.
- Work closely with colleagues across operations to ensure exceptional customer service at all times.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Matric (Grade 12).
- A minimum of 2 years' customer service and/or administration experience.
- Experience processing customer orders.
- Exposure to stock control and warehouse operations.
- Experience using computerised ordering systems.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and accurate data capturing skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- A positive, reliable, and hands-on attitude.
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting cartons, assisting with warehouse duties, and standing for extended periods when required.
- Willingness to work alternate Saturdays and assist at company events.
- A valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
- Experience within retail, direct selling, or customer-focused environments will be beneficial.
