Placements24 is seeking an ambitious Event Catering Sales Executive for its Paarl operation. You will drive growth by identifying new catering opportunities, presenting tailored proposals, and turning client requirements into actionable handoffs for operations and culinary teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality, events or catering.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Good understanding of catering services and event planning processes.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Passion for food, events, and delivering exceptional client experiences.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with a proactive approach, in the Paarl, Western Cape area.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Pursue and secure new catering business opportunities via multiple sales channels.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, both new and existing.
• Conduct compelling sales presentations and site tours.
• Prepare customized proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotions and lead generation.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
• Ensure smooth handover of client requirements to operations and culinary teams.
• Represent the company professionally at industry events and trade shows.
