Placements24 seeks a detail-oriented Catering Operations Specialist to join their Welkom team. You will drive planning, inventory control, and on-site service, ensuring quality and client satisfaction across diverse events.

Qualifications

• Previous catering or hospitality operations experience.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation and handling procedures.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of catering services for diverse events, ensuring client specifications are met.
• Manage inventory of catering supplies, equipment and food items, maintaining stock levels.
• Oversee food preparation, presentation and service, adhering to quality and hygiene standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and service teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery.
• Conduct pre- and post-event site checks, ensuring venues are properly set up and cleaned.
• Handle client inquiries and feedback professionally, contributing to positive customer relations.
