Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Event Coordinator with a catering focus to manage client engagements in Centurion. You will guide clients through planning, coordinate menus, and ensure flawless catering logistics for multiple events.

The role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and experience in proposal development and contract negotiation to deliver outstanding client experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role, with a strong focus on catering management.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in client consultation, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
• Proficiency in event management software and standard office applications.
• A customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budget for catering services.
• Develop customized catering proposals, including menus, service styles, and pricing options.
• Coordinate all logistical aspects of catering events, from venue liaison to staffing and equipment.
• Liaise with the culinary team to ensure menu accuracy, timely preparation, and high-quality food delivery.
• Oversee event setup and execution on-site, ensuring seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Manage client relationships, address inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise before, during, or after events.
