Job summary

The Personnel Corporation in Cape Town is seeking an energetic ECP Group Sales Specialist to drive employee group insurance growth. You will generate new business, identify sales opportunities, build client relationships, and promote Simply Staff Cover to businesses.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of insurance sales, B2B experience, English fluency, and proven ability to meet targets. The role offers an uncapped commission and a market-related salary within a dynamic, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate (Grade 12) is required.
• RE5 certification is required.
• At least one year of recent long-term or short-term insurance sales experience.
• Business-to-business (B2B) sales experience is essential.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office and LinkedIn for networking and sales prospecting.
• Based in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and grow the client base.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, personal contacts and online platforms.
• Generate leads independently and follow up on prospects provided by the marketing team.
• Promote and sell the Simply Staff Cover employee insurance product through the company’s broker portal.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support customer satisfaction, retention and referrals.
• Conduct client meetings in person and through virtual platforms (Teams/Zoom).
• Manage the sales pipeline and follow up consistently on prospects.
• Identify opportunities to close high-value deals and acquire new clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery and positive customer experience.
• Contribute to sales strategy execution, lead generation and client acquisition.
• Adapt to evolving business needs and contribute to growth.
