The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering with bridge specialization and 6+ years of experience, with proficiency in MIDAS Civil, CSiBridge, and LUSAS.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with bridge specialization.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in bridge design and analysis.
• Experience with MIDAS Civil, CSiBridge or LUSAS software.
• Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD or SA bridge design codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of bridges using specialized software.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications and construction documents.
• Conduct bridge inspections and condition assessments.
• Develop rehabilitation and strengthening designs for existing bridges.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure designs comply with national and international bridge codes.
• Review shop drawings and provide technical support during construction.
• Support business development and contribute to winning new opportunities.

You will be responsible for the design, analysis, and inspection of bridges and other transportation structures. This is a critical position where your expertise will directly contribute to the safety and efficiency of the region's transportation network. You will work on a variety of projects, from new bridge construction to rehabilitation of existing structures. • Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration or eligibility is highly desirable.
