Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the Retail Mass branch in Gauteng. You will grow customer base and revenue, guide Sales Consultants, and drive a service culture focused on an exceptional client experience.

The role demands operational oversight, risk management, and collaboration with HR for people practices. With 5 years in the industry, including leadership, you will implement branch strategy, manage planning, and build strong relationships with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• RE1 and RE5 registrations.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognised tertiary qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual).
• CPD compliance for current and past cycles.
• Minimum 5 years recent industry experience, including 3 years in leadership.
• Service Management experience is essential.
• Insurance sales experience.
• Credit and lending experience.

Responsibilities

• Grow customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass by overseeing branch strategy.
• Guide and standardise activities of Sales Consultants to align with strategy.
• Lead service delivery culture to ensure optimal client experience.
• Manage daily operations and strategic planning of the Retail branch.
• Ensure sales delivery and drive a service culture.
• Ensure compliance, quality, and risk management.
• Oversee HR-related people practices for direct reports in collaboration with HR.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activities.
• Identify stakeholders and develop engagement tactics.
