Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) is seeking a Branch Manager to grow the customer base and revenue across the Retail Mass segment by developing and overseeing the branch strategy and leading a team of sales consultants. You will drive a service culture and ensure effective day-to-day management of the Retail branch operations.

The role requires strong leadership, industry experience, and a proven track record in sales, risk management and stakeholder engagement to deliver exceptional client

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• RE1 and RE5 qualifications are required.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or a FSCA-recognised tertiary qualification is required.
• Class of Business accreditation must be maintained (annual).
• CPD compliance in current and past cycles is required.

Responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass through developing and overseeing the execution of the retail branch strategy.
• Guide, integrate, and standardise activities of Sales Consultants in line with strategy.
• Lead service delivery culture and ecosystem within and outside the branch to optimise client experience.
• Oversee day-to-day branch maintenance and management; develop branch strategy and business plans.
• Ensure branch sales delivery and establish and drive a service culture; ensure compliance, quality and risk management.
• Oversee direct reports with HR collaboration on talent management, performance, development and grievances.
