Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) seeks a Branch Manager to grow the customer base and revenue for the Retail Mass branch. You will guide Sales Consultants, drive a service culture and ensure compliant, high-quality client experiences.

You will also lead day-to-day branch management, develop strategy, plan sales activities, and engage with Area Managers, business owners and community forums to strengthen relationships.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) and relevant RE1/RE5 qualifications.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognised qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual) and CPD compliance.
• Minimum 5 years in financial services, with 3 years in leadership.
• Insurance sales and credit/lending experience.

Responsibilities

• Grow customer base and revenue through the Retail Mass branch strategy.
• Guide and standardise activities of Sales Consultants in the branch.
• Lead a service delivery culture for optimal client experience.
• Manage day-to-day operations and branch strategy development.
• Ensure sales delivery, compliance, quality and risk management.
• Oversee HR practices for direct reports in collaboration with HR.
• Monthly planning and reporting of sales and service activities.
• Engage key stakeholders to build relationships.
