• Professional appearance and friendly manner.
• Own transport.
• Preferably reside in the Southern Suburbs.

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and hands-on Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a small boutique hotel.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards and ensuring the smooth running of a small, personalised hospitality establishment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the hotel's operations, from reservations and administration to guest relations, housekeeping oversight and breakfast service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing all daily hotel operations and ensuring the highest standards of service and presentation.
• Handling general administration, reservations, guest enquiries and bookings.
• Managing online booking platforms, including Apply Below, Expedia and other relevant channels.
• Using and managing the NightsBridge booking system efficiently.
• Overseeing breakfast service and ensuring guests receive attentive, quality service.
• Coordinating conferencing arrangements and ensuring all requirements are met.
• Managing and supporting the housekeeping team.
• Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance and presentation meet the required standards.
• Managing guest arrivals and departures, including check-ins and check-outs.
• Building positive relationships with guests and ensuring that enquiries, requests and complaints are handled professionally and efficiently.
• Supervising and coordinating a small team of employees.
• Maintaining accurate records, attending to operational requirements and ensuring that all aspects of the establishment run smoothly.

Minimum Requirements:

• SA Citizen
• Matric / Grade 12 qualification
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in the hospitality, guest house or hotel industry.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role would be advantageous.
• Full computer literacy and confidence in using booking and administrative systems.
• Good working knowledge of the NightsBridge reservation system.
• Experience with online booking platforms such as Apply Below and Expedia.
