Job summary

CDW, a Fortune 200 leader in technology solutions, is seeking a results-driven pre-sales specialist in Cape Town to support sales operations and solution design.

You will collaborate with sales teams and clients to assess requirements, craft proposals, and ensure accurate BoMs and technical guidance throughout the sales cycle, while pursuing relevant accreditations and leveraging vendor partnerships to drive winning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in channel pre-sales or hands-on technical consulting/support.
• Able to navigate the full sales cycle and vendor requirements.
• Accreditations in core technology domains preferred.
• Beneficial: Server platforms/storage/networking certifications (Dell EMC/HPE/Cisco).

Responsibilities

• Understand infrastructure tech domains and collaborate with Sales to assess opportunities and delineate suitable solutions.
• Consider financial implications and assist Sales in selecting solutions within budget and requirements.
• Provide technical counsel to Sales on products and solutions for diverse customer profiles.
• Leverage investments in Solutions Architects, Services Business Development Managers, and professional services resources for collaboration.
• Achieve and uphold relevant accreditations.
