WhatJobs Direct is seeking a motivated Hotel Sales Executive for its prominent hotel group in Bloemfontein, Free State. You will develop and implement strategies to drive occupancy and revenue for rooms, meetings and events, building strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners.

The role requires 3–5 years in hotel sales, excellent negotiation and presentation skills, and proficiency with CRM software and MS Office.

Qualifications

3–5 years in hotel sales or related hospitality sales.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong knowledge of the Free State market and competitors.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Proficient with CRM software and MS Office; able to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve hotel revenue targets.
Identify and solicit new business from corporate accounts, government entities, and other market segments.
Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships.
Conduct sales calls, presentations, and site inspections to prospective clients.
Negotiate contract terms for group bookings and events.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional campaigns.
Ensure high service levels for all clients.
Manage the sales database and CRM system effectively.
