Job summary

HotelJobs is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive in Cape Town to drive revenue across accommodation, conferences, events, weddings, F&B, and related hotel offerings. You will build relationships with corporate and travel trade clients while aligning activities with the hotel's commercial strategy.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years' experience in hotel sales or related B2B sales.
Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field is advantageous.
Grade 12 / Matric.

Responsibilities

Actively prospect for new business opportunities within the hotel's target markets.
Develop and maintain a database of corporate, government, travel trade, PCO, DMC, leisure and local business clients.
Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, presentations and networking activities.
Identify potential new accounts and develop strategies to convert them into active clients.
Promote the hotel's accommodation, conference facilities, events, weddings, restaurant, bar and other revenue-generating facilities.
Generate leads through calls, email campaigns, networking, referrals and industry events.
Follow up on leads and enquiries promptly and professionally.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure opportunities are followed through to conversion.
Achieve agreed monthly and annual sales targets.
