Job summary

Motus Corporation in Somerset West is seeking a qualified Service Advisor to deliver advisory service and coordinate non-technical service activities in line with standard operating procedures.

You will liaise with customers and the dealership, promote labour and parts sales, maintain appointments, authorize estimates, and keep customers informed throughout repairs. This role requires customer focus, sales awareness, and strong communication skills within a dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate is required.
• 3–5 years of experience as a service advisor in the motor industry with technical knowledge.
• Kia brand background would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deal with all customers and coordinate service work and time.
• Act as liaison between service customers and dealership.
• Promote the sales of labour and parts.
• Maintain service appointment list.
• Obtain customer approval and signature after explaining the dealership payment policy.
• Inform the Service Manager about trends in customer appointments and shop performance.
• Follow up during repairs to ensure timely completion and quality work.
• Explain work performed and parts replaced when presenting the invoice.
