Job summary

Combined Motor Holdings Limited in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal, seeks a Service Advisor to be the primary liaison between customers and the workshop. You will manage service bookings, quotations, and approvals, and communicate progress and costs to clients.

The role requires Matric, 2–3 years' motor industry experience, a valid SA driver's license, strong customer service and communication skills, and familiarity with dealership management systems.

Qualifications

• Matric required.
• 2–3 years' service advisory experience in the motor industry.
• Valid South African Driver’s Licence.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Computer literacy and experience with dealership management systems.
• Good administrative and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance and warranty processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and act as the main contact between customers and the workshop.
• Manage service bookings, job cards, quotations, and customer approvals.
• Communicate repair progress, costs, and completion times to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to ensure efficient workflow.
• Promote additional maintenance, genuine parts, accessories, and service offerings.
• Process warranty and service plan claims accurately.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Ensure all administrative processes and documentation are completed accurately.
• Deliver completed vehicles and explain work carried out.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction levels while supporting departmental productivity and profitability targets.
