Placements24 is seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to support the Randburg store team. You will assist with staff supervision, customer service, and daily operations to drive sales and maintain a high standard of store presentation.

The role requires retail supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication, and familiarity with POS and inventory systems. You will help train staff, manage schedules, and ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail supervisory or assistant management role.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, sales techniques, and customer service principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.

Responsabilités

• Support the Store Manager in daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and staff management.
• Assist in training, coaching, and motivating the sales team to meet performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock receiving, accurate record-keeping, and loss prevention.
• Provide excellent customer service, handle inquiries, and resolve complaints effectively.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized store environment in Randburg.
