Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Store Operations Manager for their flagship Randburg store. You will lead day-to-day operations, drive profitability, and implement best practices across inventory, merchandising, and customer service.

The role requires 7+ years in retail management, with at least 4 years in leadership. You will manage a large team, control costs, ensure policy compliance, and collaborate with corporate on campaigns and launches.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in retail management with 4+ years in store/ops leadership.
• Proven ability to drive profitability and lead large teams.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, loss prevention, and visual merchandising.
• Experience with budgeting and P&L analysis.
• Proficiency with store management software and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all aspects of store operations, including staffing, inventory, visual merchandising, and customer service.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance profitability.
• Lead, train, and motivate the store team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversee inventory management, stock control, ordering, and loss prevention.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and standards.
• Monitor KPIs and implement action plans to achieve targets.
• Manage the store budget and financial performance, including P&L responsibility.
• Ensure health, safety and security regulations compliance.
• Collaborate with corporate on initiatives, campaigns and new product launches.
• Drive continuous improvement across store operations.
