Placements24 is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in Benoni, Gauteng. You will oversee daily operations, drive sales, manage staff, and ensure outstanding customer service while maintaining store standards.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in retail management, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with inventory and POS systems. This role offers growth, comprehensive training, and a supportive team environment.

Formación

• 2–4 years of experience in retail management or a supervisory role.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales and improve store performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Experience with inventory management and POS systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays in Benoni.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a business or management qualification is a plus.
• Passion for retail and commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision.
• Motivate and lead the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Manage inventory levels, oversee stock control, and ensure accurate stocktaking processes.
• Implement and maintain visual merchandising guidelines to enhance store appeal and product presentation.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing store staff.
• Prepare sales reports and other administrative duties as required.
• Ensure the store environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for customers and staff.
