Placements24 is seeking an Assistant Retail Manager for our Vereeniging, Gauteng location. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, oversee staff, and drive sales while maintaining top-tier customer service.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work on-site with flexibility to cover weekends/public holidays. You will contribute to visual merchandising and stock management to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a retail supervisory or assistant management role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a retail team.
• Strong understanding of retail sales principles and customer service best practices.
• Experience with inventory management and visual merchandising.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and guide retail associates, providing ongoing training and performance feedback.
• Drive sales initiatives and ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
• Manage inventory levels, process shipments, and conduct regular stocktakes.
• Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance product presentation.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining store cleanliness, safety, and security protocols.
• Deputize for the Store Manager in their absence.
• Contribute to creating a positive and productive work environment for the team.
