Job summary

Sibanye Stillwater is seeking a Training and Development professional in Gauteng to execute daily routine work in practical skills training, address skills gaps, and prove competency aligned with business needs.

The role focuses on implementing SHE standards, driving QMS accreditation, and supporting organisational development through training, reporting, and cost-saving initiatives.

Responsibilities

• SHE Compliance & Quality Management Systems.
• Maintain and comply with SHE standards within the work environment.
• Participate in risk assessments and investigate and take appropriate action as per identified risks.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Approve department’s documents.
• Comply with requirements of the Quality Management System.
• ESG Compliance.
• SA Gold Operations: Align to WGC RGMPs.
• SA PGM Operations: Enhance Together for Sustainability (eTfS).
• Build a values-based organisational culture.
• Support and participate in the organisational development plan.
• Stakeholder & Supplier Relations.
• Address service provider / stakeholder queries to build Sibanye-Stillwater brand.
• Education Training and Development Practice.
• Technical Training Management.
• Assist in providing training, materials, practices, methodology to improve competency.
• Implement QCTO, MQA and QMS (ISO9001:2015).
• Assist in compiling learner progress reports.
• Assist with cost saving initiatives to reduce costs.

Job description

Minimum Qualifications

• External from other departments:
• 2 years HRD experience.
• Assessor Certificate.
• NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults)
• Internal from HRD:
• NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults)
• Blasting certificate.
• 2 years mining experience with a minimum of 6 months as a miner.

Requirements

Advantageous Qualifications

• ETDP OD Level 3/4 and/or Assessor cert and/or Moderator certificate and/or Shift supervisor cert.
