Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aquatics Director to manage Welkom's aquatic facilities and programs, ensuring safety, quality, and success across lessons, teams, and community initiatives.

You will oversee lifeguards, instructors, and staff while managing budgets and compliance with safety regulations, driving water safety and aquatic fitness in the Free State community.

Qualifications

• Certification such as Lifeguard Instructor Trainer or CPO.
• Minimum of 4 years in aquatics management or supervision.
• Strong knowledge of water safety, pool operations, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in program development and staff training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and management of all aquatic facilities and programs.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Aquatics Director to manage their aquatic facilities and programs in Welkom. This leadership position involves ensuring the safety, quality, and success of all aquatics operations, including swim lessons, competitive swimming teams, recreational swimming, and water safety initiatives. The director will oversee lifeguards, instructors, and support staff, while also managing budgets and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations.
