Placements24 seeks an experienced Aquatics Centre Manager to lead operations at a premier Nelspruit facility. You will oversee pool operations, safety standards, staffing, programming, and member services, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and high‑quality environment for all patrons.

The role requires 5+ years in aquatics facility management, current Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certifications, and strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. A relevant bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in aquatics facility management or a similar leadership role.
• Current Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with pool operations, water chemistry, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and staff effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily operations of the aquatics center, including pool maintenance, water quality, and safety compliance.
• Supervise, train, and schedule lifeguards, swim instructors, and front desk staff.
• Develop and implement a diverse range of aquatic programs, such as swim lessons, aqua fitness classes, and competitive swim team support.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and emergency protocols; conduct regular safety audits.
• Manage the aquatics center budget, including revenue targets, expense control, and procurement.
