About the Role

This role involves overseeing daily pool operations, managing a team of lifeguards and instructors, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards. You will be responsible for creating a positive and secure environment for swimmers of all ages, from casual visitors to competitive teams. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the aquatics centre, including pool maintenance and cleaning schedules.
• Manage and schedule a team of lifeguards and swimming instructors, ensuring adequate coverage and high performance.
• Enforce pool rules and safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure swimmer safety.
• Conduct regular safety checks and emergency preparedness drills.
• Oversee swimming lesson programs and aquatic fitness classes.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and effectively, providing first aid and C.P.R. as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within an aquatic facility or similar environment.
• Current Lifeguard certification and First Aid/C.P.R. certification are mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of pool operations, water chemistry, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage staff effectively and ensure compliance with regulations.
