Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Aquatic Centre Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure safety, and coordinate lifeguard teams at facilities in Vereeniging. The role requires a strong background in aquatic safety, pool operations, and staff supervision to maintain high standards of service and safety.

Responsibilities include managing pool maintenance, enforcing safety rules, and supporting community swimming programs.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR certifications required.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule a team of lifeguards, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to safety protocols.
• Oversee the daily operation and cleanliness of the swimming pools and surrounding areas.
• Implement and enforce all pool safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular facility checks and coordinate maintenance and repairs for pool equipment.
• Manage aquatic program registrations and assist with swimming lessons and events.
• Respond to emergencies and administer first aid or CPR when necessary.
