Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aquatics Manager to oversee operations of their aquatic facilities in Klerksdorp. You will lead lifeguards and instructors, manage pool maintenance and safety protocols, and develop engaging water programs to enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in aquatics management or a supervisory role in a similar recreational setting.
• Current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with pool operations, water chemistry, and maintenance procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to develop and manage budgets for the aquatics department.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the aquatic facility, including pool maintenance, water quality testing, and safety protocols.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise a team of lifeguards and swim instructors.
• Develop, implement, and promote a variety of aquatics programs, including swimming lessons and fitness classes.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Handle member inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
