The Accounts Payable Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies. You will play a crucial role in managing vendor relationships, processing payments, and reconciling statements. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable department.
• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment runs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Manage vendor onboarding, including verification of W-9s and other necessary documentation.
• Develop and implement departmental goals and objectives to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of accounts payable staff.
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve AP-related issues.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Generate and analyze AP reports for management review.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven experience with AP software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage).
• Strong understanding of accounts payable principles, processes, and best practices.
