Job summary

The Recruitment Pig in Johannesburg is seeking a proactive Account Manager to own an enterprise client portfolio in the IT and cloud space. You will work with certified cloud engineers to deliver results and ensure client satisfaction while expanding expertise in Microsoft Azure services.

You will build trusted relationships, manage renewals, review billing, and prepare compelling proposals with cloud architects. Strong communication, negotiation, and team collaboration are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 Senior Certificate or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of account management experience in IT.
• Direct Azure solutions or CSP licensing experience.
• Proven ability to engage with IT managers and procurement teams.
• Microsoft certifications (AZ-900) or IT qualification advantageous.

Check monthly cloud billing statements to make sure client invoicing stays clear and accurate. Identify practical opportunities to help existing clients adopt new Microsoft Azure services. Team up with internal cloud architects to prepare clear commercial proposals for clients. Manage contract renewals smoothly to secure long-term client retention and satisfaction. Keep client interaction notes and active account progress up to date in the CRM.

What You Need to Apply

Grade 12 Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification. At least 3 to 5 years of successful account management experience within the IT sector. Direct experience handling Microsoft Azure solutions or Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) licensing accounts. Proven track record of working comfortably with corporate IT managers and procurement teams. Confident communication, presentation, and contract negotiation skills. Relevant Microsoft certifications (such as AZ-900) or an IT qualification will be a distinct advantage. A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine commitment to team collaboration.
