Red Ember is seeking a dynamic Porter for a luxury client in Franschhoek. You will welcome guests, assist with luggage, supervise parked cars, and play a key role in supporting housekeeping and reception to ensure flawless service.

The ideal candidate holds a Matric certificate, has excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, strong physical endurance, a valid driver’s license, and is willing to work shifts including nights.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate required.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong interpersonal skills for guest interaction.
• Ability to handle complaints effectively.
• Willingness to work across departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage and parcels.
• Interact with guests while assisting with luggage.
• Park guests' cars.
• Perform operational duties (set up pool, arrange loungers, clear dishes).
• Upsell facilities and services including affiliates.
