Job summary

Phoenix Recruitment seeks a guest services associate for a luxury hotel in Franschhoek. You will assist guests with luggage, parking, and basic hospitality tasks while maintaining excellent service standards.

Applicants should have a Matric Certificate and experience in a 5* luxury setting, plus a valid driver’s license and excellent English communication. The role requires physical stamina and availability for night shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage, parcels and related items.
• Interact with guests while assisting with luggage.
• Assist guests with parking of their cars.
• Perform basic operational tasks (pool setup, lounger cushions, clearing dishes).
• Upsell other facilities and services including affiliates.

• Interacting with guests while assisting with luggage
• Parking guestsâ cars
• Perform fundamental operational duties, such as setting up pool, placing lounger cushions, removing dishes, assisting Housekeeping and reception
• Upselling of other facilities and services including affiliates

Requirements

• Matric Certificate
• Previous working experience in a 5* luxury environment
• Valid driverâs license
• Good communication skills in English
• High level of physical endurance
• Ability to work shifts including night shift
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to interact with guests
• Efficient complaint handling
• Be Flexible in other departments
• Preference will be given to candidates from Franschhoek and neighbouring areas
