Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Child Life, Therapeutic Recreation, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3 years Child Life experience required.
• 2 years leadership/mentoring in Child Life or related field required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.
• Current CCLS or BC-MT or ATR-BC certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• CTR S certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and clinical mentor to assigned direct reports.
• Provide leadership consistent with ACLP Standards of Clinical Practice.
• Maintain schedules and coordinate coverage based on acuity.
• Ensure charting accuracy and conduct chart audits.
• Perform and document evaluations; support disciplinary processes.
• Collaborate on onboarding, education, and cross-training initiatives.
• Lead department initiatives with PFCC education and hospital committees.
• Foster teamwork, respect, and diversity across unit teams.
