Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Child Life, Therapeutic Recreation, or related field required
• Master's degree in Child Life, Therapeutic Recreation, or related field preferred
• Completion of internship and pediatric hospital exposure preferred
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire and CCLS credential or equivalent within 18 months of hire

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate coping needs for pediatric patients and families
• Provide education and developmentally appropriate support to reduce fear and promote mastery
• Facilitate therapeutic play and self-expression activities
• Advocate for patient/family needs within the healthcare team
• Participate in rounds, documentation, and professional development
