Job summary

Centene Corporation seeks a Private Access Engineer to support the operation, growth, and continuous improvement of the organization’s private access services. The role includes troubleshooting access and connectivity issues, onboarding applications, and maintaining technical documentation for reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field and 2–4 years related experience.
• Equivalent experience reflecting the level of this position is acceptable.
• Relevant networking, security, identity, cloud, or Zscaler certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering and operational support for Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), including onboarding, lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and service improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and operational efficiency.
• Work with application owners, infrastructure teams, and vendors to design and implement secure private access solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex application-access issues including authentication, connectivity, DNS, routing, and policy enforcement.
• Configure and support private access technologies, including application segments, access policies, and connector groups.
• Participate in onboarding new applications to the private access platform while ensuring a positive user experience and security compliance.
• Collaborate across identity, networking, cloud, security, and support teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and implementation standards.
